The Scene
Located away from downtown, this spot is worth the extra few miles. Despite its massive size and maze-like crowded dining rooms, this spot is often packed all day long. Settle in by the fireplace, though, and the wait usually isn't that long. Of course, you'll be waiting by the display case that's filled with pies. Tempting, it certainly is.
The Food
If you're here for breakfast, the menu isn't full of surprises, but everything works. For lunch or dinner, start off with a true Wisconsin favorite--deep-fried cheese curds. Then grab a burger or one of the dinner plates, includingt their famous open-faced roast beef sandwich. If you're lucky enough to stop by on Friday, don't miss the fish fry (large pieces of cod, fried to perfection and served with fries and cole slaw). Wrap things up with a piece of pie--the selection ranges from caramel apple to English toffee.

This little hidden gem is worth the trip. Food is excellent. Huge portions. We always end up taking some home. They serve breakfast anytime. Highly recommend the omelets and steak and eggs. Also recommend the roast turkey dinner. Highly recommend the pie also. Service is very good. Gets very busy on weekends. Might have to wait a bit, but again its well worth it.
Pros: Awesome Food. Great service. Nice place to take the entire family.
Cons: Parking lot is way too small for the amount of business this place has.
