The Scene
Think back to those college days and you can probably picture the inside of the Big Ten--it's dark, with lots of wood, there's a man bar alongside tables and booths, with a smallish additional room in the back (by the rest rooms). Kids are welcome in the afternoon and early evenings.
The Draw
Cheap beer is the name of the game here, but they do have a number of microbrews on tap, too. Plus, the menu hits all the usual burger, brat and sandwich areas. Make plans to come down on Fridays for the fish fry--the cod, blue gill and perch are terrific (perch is a few bucks more, but local and definitely worth it). And who doesn't like a plate of fried curds?
